First

We’ll have you do 20-30 minutes of pre-work to help us prep for your session.

Then

We’ll spend 4 hours together hammering out the details of your made-for-you hiring process starting with a custom job description for the position you're hiring for right now. We’ll discuss where to find your ideal candidates, how to format your "Careers" page on your website, best recruiting practices, and how to write a job posting that people are excited to read and apply for!

Next

We’ll craft your signature interviewing process, go over interview dos and don'ts, and create the best questions to ask candidates to ensure a great fit. We’ll also walk through my proven interview templates to customize them to your unique needs and process, then discuss what topics and questions to avoid during the interview process to stay out of hot legal water.

Finally

We’ll wrap up your Hiring VIP Day with how to make a verbal offer, customize your offer letter, and decline candidates with compassion and ease. We’ll also review hiring requirements for your state to ensure you start your journey off in compliance.

Afterward

After our session, I’ll spend a few days customizing and finalizing all your documents. I organize them in a shared folder, create a "next steps" plan so you know exactly what to do, and tie it all up with a hyper-linked Table of Contents so you can easily find any document in your folder.

Once you receive your final deliverables (usually within 10 business days), you also receive 45 days of email support where you can ask me any follow-up or clarifying questions and one 30-minute SOS call for that moment when voice-to-voice is a MUST!

I started SproutHR because I’m passionate about women leading small businesses and want more of us to see how powerful and capable we really are. I’ve seen first-hand that the difference between a successful, thriving, sustainable business and shutting down is simply asking for help.

I’m a certified HR professional with over 17 years of experience and have worked with a lot of different business owners – from local brick and mortars to online agencies to multi-million dollar national & international companies. 

I wrote my first book, Transform Your Stories, to guide women to overcome the stories that hold us back so we can become confident and courageous leaders who create a resounding impact in the world. And in 2022, I laughed The Impact Ripple podcast to provide even more valuable HR advice.

Back in my corporate days, I was a leadership expert and top recruiter for J.Crew and Kroger where I hired and developed everyone from the newest hourly employees to C-suite level executives. I've led teams from 1 to 400 employees and have been on teams developing massive corporate-wide trainings for $100B companies employing over 350k employees.

I have my own team and business now and know how different it feels from the safety net of corporate. I understand the feeling of everything falling on your shoulders, the pressure to make budget, to hit revenue goals, and to keep the boat afloat.

A woman who had a team of contractors was looking to start adding employees to her team.
